What the AI does
One AI, five jobs — it makes the blocking smarter at every level:
- Detects sponsor segments in video transcripts
- Reviews popups before hiding them — logins and real dialogs survive
- Clicks “Reject” on cookie banners the filter lists miss
- Double-checks suspected ads before hiding, so real content stays
- Repairs the YouTube skip button when the site changes
Everything runs on Chrome's built-in AI by default — free, private, on-device, no setup. It's slower on very long videos. For fast, accurate analysis of anything (great for podcasts), add a free Google Gemini API key — no credit card needed. OpenRouter and fully-local Ollama are supported too (in settings).
Recommended free pair: add a free Groq API key alongside Gemini. They divide the work automatically: Gemini does the deep transcript analysis, while the quick helpers (popup review, cookie-consent clicks, selector repair) run on Groq's roomier free tier — so those bursts never eat Gemini's 5-requests-per-minute quota.

Keys are stored locally and sent only to their own provider; Chrome will ask to allow access to each API host.
Your data
Everything runs in your browser — what you watch, type, and read stays on your device. Optional anonymous diagnostics (which include the domain where an ad-detection event happened, never full addresses or page content) help us fix bugs; turn them off below or in settings anytime.
